MyCUAnywhere is Now Sprig

ONTARIO, CA – July 22, 2011 — FSCC (Financial Service Centers Cooperative, Inc.), the nation's largest and most convenient shared branching network with over 6,700 in-network locations, along with CU Wireless, a credit union service organization based in Salem, OR, is excited to announce today that MyCUAnywhere will now be known as Sprig. Soon Sprig will deliver enhanced features, including a first in the industry: fund transfer capability from one institution to another (providing both institutions are shared branching members). Using secure, SMS/text banking technology members can easily and conveniently access account information including balances, transaction history, loan status as well as authorize fund transfers.

Bringing banking to the palm of one’s hand, Sprig text banking delivers a robust answer to consumer demand for convenience and instant access. FSCC participating credit unions can now offer their members the latest in mobile text-based account access—immediately. A cost effective solution, Sprig is available without set up or monthly maintenance fees, and no minimum monthly usage is required. Credit unions only pay per member transaction.

Sprig will eventually encompass all FSCC shared branching connections that offer shared services directly to members. For example, Sprig mobile apps for iPhone and Android will be available soon and will include all features of the text banking option plus enhanced features such as mobile deposit capture. When launched, the new features will also be provided on a per transaction basis with no additional monthly maintenance or set up fees. This will allow FSCC participating credit unions of all sizes to rapidly implement this fast growing member service outlet.
