What is FSCC? Purpose of FSCC FSCC Organizational Structure Objectives of the Organization

Mission

FSCC provides a cooperative network of convenient, low-cost branches so that credit unions can compete.

Vision
Every branch of every credit union is an outlet.

Overview

FSCC is the nations largest credit union shared branch network with financial access points at over 5,500 locations through the national network. The national network includes over 3,400 FSCC access points in the U.S., Puerto Rico, and four foreign countries.

The purpose of FSCC is to develop and maintain a cooperative shared branching network, where credit unions share branches with one another. FSCC was the first shared branch network to bring shared branching overseas. Since its organization in 1990, FSCC is the only shared branch network directly owned and controlled by credit unions.

FSCC credit unions represent $138.5 billion in assets and 12.4 million members. Since 1999, FSCC has returned over $13 million to its members through patronage dividends, rebates and return of capital and it recently announced a $1.2 million dividend payment for 2007.

FSCC is known for its innovative and dynamic approach to delivery channels. FSCC was the first network to pioneer the outlet concept in shared branching. Today, 100 percent of FSCC shared branches are outlets in existing credit union branches. FSCC was the first to use the shared branch interface to connect kiosks to credit unions for on-us and shared branch transactions in a branch and retail environment. FSCC was also the first to launch a 24/7 call center for shared branch transactions. In 2007, FSCC hit another milestone and implemented shared branch services on over 2,000 advanced-function self service kiosks inside selected 7-Eleven stores.

Headquartered in San Dimas, California, FSCC is a not-for-profit cooperative with a Board of Directors, and dedicated staff of professionals whose mission is to make credit unions the most convenient financial institutions in the world.
